Rachel and Gracie and I went for a walk around the adjacent neighborhood and from about a half a block away I see a large golden cat. Not large large, just bigger than a house cat, which is what I thought it was at first. Then I slowed down and watched it for a bit and decided we'd stop and wait for it to pass since I thought possibly this could be a mountain lion (which are not uncommon in our area). Now that I've looked at pictures I'm second guessing myself, maybe it was just a large golden cat out walking the neighborhood, but it sure sounds cool to say we saw a mountain lion. So quite possible we did. Cool huh?
